Unique Bridal Dresses Biography

Source(google.com.pk)
Jenny Yoo hails from a small town outside of Philadelphia. She attended the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City and received her bachelors degree in Fashion Design. She is the founder and designer of Jenny Yoo Collection, Inc., a highly successful and rapidly growing company within the bridal industry.

Upon graduating from Parsons, she worked for a private label company before becoming an associate designer at Ann Taylor. She gained valuable experience and knowledge working for a corporate fashion apparel company. She recognized the importance of understanding consumer needs, but was frustrated with the creative limitations faced while working for a corporate label. She was determined to pursue her dreams.

Jenny’s passion was to create and design her own collection of bridesmaid dresses. Upon starting her business, she recognized the absence of understated, yet uniquely stylish, quality bridesmaid dresses. She combines her visionary and creative expression with her corporate background experience to create a fresh, modern approach to dressing today’s bridesmaids.

Jenny’s clear vision and motivation for redefining today’s bridesmaids has driven her company’s rapid success of recognition in the bridal industry. Jenny understands that while weddings are a tradition, rules can and need to be broken. Her modern yet elegant designs emphasize her philosophy that one must evolve with the footsteps of today’s changing times. She launched her first collection of bridesmaid dresses in November 2002. It was the beginning of her successful road to make a mark and create a new niche in the bridal industry.

In such a short time, her reputation has blossomed and she has been featured in countless editorials and televised media coverage. Several of Jenny’s dresses have been featured on NBC’s The Today Show in its “The Today Show Throws a Wedding” for the past 3 years and in 2005, her dresses won the prestigious top prize. She has been featured in numerous publications like InStyle Weddings, Martha Stewart Wedding, Town & Country and many more.

Jenny’s vision, direction, and designs are refreshing and continues to raise the bar in the industry to redefine bridesmaids.

Finding an ideal bridesmaid dress may be as challenging as finding an ideal candidate for a husband, but the good news is that in both categories there is ample competition. Conventions change and nowadays brides often leave their wedding attendants plenty of freedom when it comes to selecting color or fabric, rather than requesting specific details that match her bridal looks. In many celebrations, there are as many different dresses as there are bridesmaids and the attitude to accessories is equally liberal. This trend represents both a challenge and an opportunity.

On the one hand, without clear instructions from a bride as to what is expected in relation to a bridesmaid dress, attendants are left without a fashion issue they have to settle for themselves. This is never easy considering the amount of pressure around wedding ceremonies. They need to strike a balance between a number of requirements and expectations, often conflicting, including - among others - budget limitations, tradition vs latest fashion or intended life of a dress. It is not uncommon to hear bridesmaids asking themselves whether they want to wear something that would make them shine just this once or a piece that is more universal, if less nuptial.

On the other hand, being able to choose your own unique bridesmaid dress is a freedom you can take fantastic advantage of. With the current array of designers and manufacturers vying for your attention, just picking and choosing could feel like an act of creation. Is it going to be chiffon or tulle, cocktail or full length, strapless or one shoulder - you decide what best fits your needs and the occasion. Wedding ceremonies might not be the right place to make an aggressive fashion statement, but there is definitely plenty of room for style seeking, experimenting with convention and reinventing the tradition. Why not make the most of this potential?
